Get to know Hillary Avera PA-C
Hillary Erica Avera is a Pediatric Physician Assistant working with Rancho Family Medical Group. She began her career in healthcare in 2011 as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. She worked to provide superior inpatient care to patients of all ages at San Bernardino County Hospital as well as Riverside Community Hospital. Hillary completed her Bachelors in Science with an emphasis in Respiratory Care at Boise State University and began working as a Registered Respiratory Therapy Instructor for San Joaquin Valley College in Temecula. After she had a young family member pass from Leukemia, it motivated her to continue her education in healthcare. With a desire to help other families and promote health education, Hillary then obtained her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from California Baptist University. Upon graduating, Hillary pursued her passion for pediatric medicine and now loves working with newborns and adolescent patients. She enjoys being able to share pediatric milestones and getting to know each family she sees on a personal level. During her educational years she also was married to her husband, Brian Avera, and gave birth to her young daughter, Ava Avera. Hillary enjoys baking, decorating, being outdoors and spending quality time with her beloved family.
