Anisha Patel is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner at our Makena office. She earned her undergraduate degree in English from UC Santa Barbara before pursuing her Bachelor’s in Nursing at West Coast University. Anisha’s professional journey includes valuable experience in both the Progressive Care Unit and the Intensive Care Unit at Temecula Valley Hospital. She later returned to West Coast University to complete her Master’s in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Anisha’s practice ethos is rooted in prevention rather than intervention. She is committed to addressing the holistic health of her patients, considering their mental, physical, and social well-being in her care approach. Passionate about de-prescribing when appropriate, Anisha strives to enhance patient outcomes by providing thoughtful, comprehensive care.

Her passion for medicine began early, sparked by volunteer work at a nursing facility and advocating for her grandmother during hospitalizations. She further enriched her understanding of global health through education at Oxford University.

Outside the office, Anisha enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs. She also finds joy in creating charcuterie boards, a therapeutic activity she shares with her children to teach them the values of diversity and cohesion.
