Anisha Patel is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner at our Makena office. She earned her undergraduate degree in English from UC Santa Barbara before pursuing her Bachelor’s in Nursing at West Coast University. Her professional journey includes valuable experience in both the Progressive Care Unit and the Intensive Care Unit at Temecula Valley Hospital. Anisha later returned to West Coast University to complete her Master’s in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

With a practice ethos centered on prevention rather than intervention, Anisha is committed to addressing the holistic health of her patients, incorporating their mental, physical, and social well-being into her care approach. She is passionate about de-prescribing when appropriate, aiming to enhance patient outcomes through thoughtful, comprehensive care.

Anisha’s passion for medicine began early in her life, sparked by her volunteer work at a nursing facility and advocating for her grandmother during her hospitalizations. She further enriched her understanding of global health through education at Oxford University. Outside of the office, Anisha enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs. She also finds joy in creating charcuterie boards, a therapeutic activity she shares with her children to teach them about the value of diversity and cohesion.
