Insurance FAQs

Our doctors currently accept all insurance plans that our medical group, Regal, accepts. However, as physicians’ patient panels become increasingly impacted, some physicians will only accept new Medicare Advantage patients only.

We do not currently accept MediCal. If you are 65+, we do accept Medicare and MediCal if they are under a coordinated care plan. For help connecting to an insurance broker, contact our Patient Relations team at 951-225-6808.

Yes! We currently accept straight Medicare as well as many Medicare Advantage Plans! For all Medicare questions or help connecting to a Medicare Broker, contact our Patient Relations team at 951-225-6808.

While our team are not licensed Medicare Brokers, we do have a team of trusted brokers we would be more than happy to connect you with for help!

Yes! You’re welcome to schedule with any of our providers who are currently accepting new patients.

We are affiliated with Temecula Valley Hospital, Loma Linda Murrieta, Rancho Springs Medical Center and Inland Valley Hospital. Within Rancho Family, we have a Hospitalist team who will take charge of your care while you’re admitted. 

While we do not accept walk-ins, our clinic staff would be more than happy to schedule you for the next available appointment. If you need immediate care, please ask our staff about the nearest Urgent Care.

Medical Scribes are typically providers in training, their role within Rancho is to follow our physicians into the exam room to take comprehensive notes and chart for our providers which allows them to make a more meaningful connection with our patients.

Rancho Family is proud to use MyChart as their patient portal. For help setting up your MyChart, please call your doctor’s office.

Our new patient paperwork is available online under the Patient Forms tab. Or you’re more than welcome to ask for the forms in clinic to fill out prior to your appointment.

Yes! You’re more than welcome to take care of your pending balances through MyChart.

You can request a prescription refill by logging into your MyChart account and requesting a refill on the Medications page, or you can call (951) 676-4193 to request a refill over the phone.

Provider FAQs

An APP (Advanced Practice Practitioner) is either a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. While doctors and APP’s differ in their education level, APP’s can diagnose, treat and coordinate care as a regular Primary Care Physician would. 

Our doctors currently accept all insurance plans that our medical group, Regal accepts. However, as physicians’ patient panels become increasingly impacted, some physicians will only accept new Medicare Advantage patients only.

As a patient of Rancho Family, you’re welcome to see any provider within the group. All your medical records and chart notes are available to whichever provider you choose to schedule with, so if your doctor is unavailable, don’t worry! Our providers are here to make your care as cohesive as possible.

Becoming a new patient is easy! If you are 65+ and need help, please call our Patient Relations team at 951-225-6808. If you are not a senior or not on Medicare, you can call the office directly at 951-676-4193.

Senior Care FAQs

Our Patient Relations team is here to help our Senior Patients. They can help you call your insurance and become assigned to a Rancho Family Doctor. They can help with insurance-based questions or connect you with our trusted Medicare Brokers. They can also iron out any issues you may have during your care. Ultimately, they are here to support you, our senior patients.

Aside from our Patient Relations team, we currently offer fitness classes across Murrieta, Sun City and Hemet. For a full list of our senior classes, please visit our Senior Center Calendar above!

As a senior, you’re in good hands with Rancho Family. All our physicians are qualified to treat our 65+ population, meaning you do not have to limit your care to a geriatrician. Each of our providers would be happy and capable of treating you.

Absolutely! We offer Meet the Doctor events with many of our providers. For a list of upcoming senior events, please call our Patient Relations Team at 951-225-6808.

Specialist FAQs

Not at all, if you would prefer to see a different specialist within Regal, our providers would be more than happy to refer you elsewhere.

When becoming a new patient within Rancho Family, we will have you fill out our new patient paperwork. In addition to that paperwork, there is a Medical Release Form you can request that allows our office to obtain your medical records from your previous doctor. 

Our specialists fall under Regal Medical Group. Regal currently accepts the same insurance plans for all specialists across the board.

We currently do not have any specialists under Rancho Family Medical Group.
