A native of Minnesota, Dr. Jamey Sotis grew up in the Midwest and attended the University of Notre Dame, where he had the unique opportunity to serve as the university’s mascot, the Leprechaun. After completing his undergraduate degree, he pursued a master’s degree in Bioethics from Trinity Graduate School in Chicago, which further fueled his aspiration to become a physician. He then returned to Minnesota to complete his family medicine residency at the University of Minnesota. After practicing in the Midwest for a decade, Dr. Sotis and his family relocated to California, where he joined Rancho Family Medical Group.

Dr. Sotis’ passion for health extends beyond his clinic, as he actively encourages both his patients and his own family to embrace healthy lifestyles. He and his wife enjoy running, biking, and hiking together. Last year, he completed the IRONMAN 70.3 Oceanside and has set his sights on completing a full IRONMAN in the future.
