Donica Loney is a Physician Assistant at the Sun City office. Her journey in the medical field began during her undergraduate years when she shadowed Dr. Madrid at Rancho Family Medical Group, sparking her passion for healthcare. Donica earned her bachelor’s degree at California Baptist University and continued her education at the same institution, obtaining a master’s degree in physician assistant studies.

Throughout her academic journey, Donica complemented her theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience. Holding a certification in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), she served as an emergency room technician and medical assistant at an urgent care facility, accumulating valuable skills that she brings to her role today. Donica’s love for medicine traces back to her childhood, where an early fascination with anatomy and a medical dictionary fueled her curiosity.

Outside the clinic, Donica has passion for both art and physical fitness. Her love for painting anatomy serves as a therapeutic outlet, stemming from a lifelong fascination. Beyond the canvas, she embraces exhilarating activities such as waterskiing, rollerblading, and immersing herself in the serenity of lakes and beaches.
