Dr. Simmons Bio
Dr. Simmons, born and raised in California, graduated from La Sierra University. She studied medicine at Loma Linda University Medical school and then completed a Family Medicine Residency at Kaiser Permanente in Fontana. She enjoys whole patient care for the family. She strives to incorporate preventative medicine, diet, and exercise teachings so that her patients can prevent medical illness and disease. She especially likes sports medicine and well woman care. Her volunteer interests have taken her to many countries for medical missionary work. She enjoys hiking, pickleball, kayaking, gardening, teaching at church and spending time with her family and two dogs.

An APP (Advanced Practice Practitioner) is either a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. While doctors and APP’s differ in their education level, APP’s can diagnose, treat and coordinate care as a regular Primary Care Physician would.
Our doctors currently accept all insurance plans that our medical group, Regal accepts. However, as physicians’ patient panels become increasingly impacted, some physicians will only accept new Medicare Advantage patients only.
As a patient of Rancho Family, you’re welcome to see any provider within the group. All your medical records and chart notes are available to whichever provider you choose to schedule with, so if your doctor is unavailable, don’t worry! Our providers are here to make your care as cohesive as possible.
Becoming a new patient is easy! If you are 65+ and need help, please call our Patient Relations team at 951-225-6808. If you are not a senior or not on Medicare, you can call the office directly at 951-676-4193.
