Dr. Walter Bio
Dr. Rome Walter is an Osteopathic Medicine doctor (DO) at our Wildomar clinic. Raised in the Central Valley, he developed a love for sports, chemistry, and a desire to help others. Dr. Rome graduated from Midwestern University – Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005.
His journey into holistic healthcare began in childhood, inspired by his mother’s practices of giving her children aloe vera juice and apple cider vinegar to enhance their nutrition. This led him toward a career in osteopathic medicine, where he focuses on addressing the root causes of health concerns and creating personalized health plans for his patients.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Rome enjoys mountain biking, reading, and spending quality time with his wife and five children. He finds peace in reading classic literature and practicing meditation to unwind. Dr. Rome Walter is currently accepting new patients at our Wildomar office.

An APP (Advanced Practice Practitioner) is either a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. While doctors and APP’s differ in their education level, APP’s can diagnose, treat and coordinate care as a regular Primary Care Physician would.
Our doctors currently accept all insurance plans that our medical group, Regal accepts. However, as physicians’ patient panels become increasingly impacted, some physicians will only accept new Medicare Advantage patients only.
As a patient of Rancho Family, you’re welcome to see any provider within the group. All your medical records and chart notes are available to whichever provider you choose to schedule with, so if your doctor is unavailable, don’t worry! Our providers are here to make your care as cohesive as possible.
Becoming a new patient is easy! If you are 65+ and need help, please call our Patient Relations team at 951-225-6808. If you are not a senior or not on Medicare, you can call the office directly at 951-676-4193.
