Mothers Day

Celebrating the Women Who Care For Us

Sunday, May 13th

Mother’s Day can bring many different feelings—whether you’re celebrating, remembering, or honoring someone special, we’re thinking of you.

Answer the questions by filling in the boxes below!

Stroke Awareness Month

May is Stroke Awareness Month, a great time to learn a simple way to recognize the signs of a stroke. Quick action can make a big difference—and remembering FAST can help:

F – Face: Ask the person to smile. Does one side of the face droop?
A – Arms: Can they raise both arms? Does one drift downward?
S – Speech: Is their speech slurred or hard to understand?
T – Time: If you notice any of these signs, it’s time to call 911 right away.

Stroke symptoms can come on suddenly, but knowing what to look for helps you stay in control. Most importantly—you’re not expected to handle it alone. Acting quickly gets the right help on the way. Taking care of your health, staying active, and keeping up with regular check-ups can all help reduce your risk. If you ever have questions, our team is here to support you!

Adopt a Pet!

Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary & Rescue Pet of Month

Rancho Family Medical Group is proud to partner with Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary! Each month, we will feature a “Pet of the Month” that is available for adoption. Hope Ranch has also initiated a wonderful program called the Senior Fur Senior Program, where adoption fees are waived for seniors (65+) adopting a senior dog (7+). Fees may vary depending on the dog or length of stay, but this initiative aims to bring joy and companionship to both the pets and their new owners.

Meet Myles, a 14-year-old chihuahua with a grumpy-but-sweet personality and plenty of charm. He’s not here for marathons or TikTok dances—just good meals, naps, and the perfect head scratch. Myles has a few quirks: he’s not housebroken, has some hearing loss and cataracts, and occasionally surprises you with “morning gifts.”

He’s a laid-back senior who’s looking for a calm, patient home that appreciates the humor and heart of caring for an older dog. If you’re ready for a lovable companion who’s the canine version of a grumpy old man, Myles is waiting to bring joy (and laughs) to your days.

Ruby is 9 years young and still living life in the fast lane—with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! Weighing in around 35–40 pounds, she’s the perfect mid-sized companion for adventures or cozy cuddle sessions. Her sweet, friendly nature means she’s never met a stranger—just future best friends. With her playful spirit and soulful eyes, Ruby is ready to bring joy, laughter, and lots of love to her forever home!

Not ready to Adopt?

Come visit us at Kahoot’s in Temecula for our adoption events! We will be bringing adoptable dogs and puppies for you to meet and find your new furry family member. All our animals are fully vetted and ready to go home the same day.

Memorial Day

As we approach Memorial Day, we take a moment to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage and sacrifice have helped preserve the freedoms we enjoy today.
This holiday is also a time for reflection, connection, and gratitude. Whether you’re spending the day with loved ones, attending a local remembrance event, or simply enjoying a quiet moment, we encourage you to take time to honor those who served.
As always, your health and well-being remain our top priority. If you plan to be outdoors, remember to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and take breaks as needed—especially during warmer weather.
From all of us at Rancho Family Medical Group, we wish you a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.
